The Information Commissioners Office has today launched a new toolkit which is designed to help SME’s to check their compliance with the Data Protection Act.
The toolkit asks a series of questions and provides a series of answers to assess your business practices and provides guidance and information on how they could be improved it need be.
The toolkit can be used as an assessment to see how a SME looks after its customer information and adheres to the eight principles of the data protection act.
